We are delighted to announce that our youngest daughter Chelsea, has been appointed as our General manager at the Lodge. Her valuable experience gained at Donald Trump’s prestigious Mar-a Lago private estate in West Palm Beach is of immense value to us and the rest of our staff are all happy to have a familiar face in charge. Our eldest daughter, Dr Julienne Fenwick has opened her own medical practice “Best of Both Holistic Medical Practice” in Onrus/Hermanus with her special interest of Functional & Integrative Medicine.  Her website is www.bestofbothwellness.com. We are very proud of her! The Lodge has had quite a few upgrades in the recent past – new jacuzzi baths and one seaview room had a total remake of the bathroom – looking really nice now and more functional. The bar area has a new look with airforce blue reupholstered seating and handcrafted lights made by local artist Ulrich Riek. Although our water situation is not as dire as Cape Town, we are all trying to save water as much as possible and we appreciate our environmentally conscious guests who help in this manner.
